Major League Soccer is looking to add two expansion franchises to begin play in 2011. Noted soccer fan (who is not bad with the boot himself), Steve Nash, is backing a bid to get one of those newly created teams in Vancouver.There are a number of high profile bidders involved in the various entries, with owners of NHL, NFL, Champions League and South American teams all putting their hat in the ring.
No word yet on whether Nash will try to get himself a starting gig as striker for Vancouver FC, should the bid be successful.
